IMG_0115The printed mini dresses are finally coming out to play for a stroll on a sunny Brooklyn afternoon.  Styling a bit of a girly attire juxtaposed with a hipster vibe.

Oh how I’ve been dying to whip out all my Spring dresses because it’s been a ridiculously long Winter. I’ve had this aztec flared mini for sometime now, but never really thought that I’d wear it again because I was kind of over the whole aztec print on clothing. Surprizingly, one day I found it hidden in the back of my closet and decided to just throw it on for my usual chill day in Brooklyn.

Since it’s technically not full blown Summer and blazing hot, it was still okay for me to wear a chunky sweater because it got pretty chilly at times. So this light blue sweater did the trick in keeping me pretty warm and comfortable. I could have easily gone the full girlie route with this look but, that’s not really my aesthetic therefore I opted for chunky black boots for a bit of an hipster/edgy vibe to a very classic casual look.

Conservatory Plaid

Visiting one of my favourite places in New York, where I go to sit and think but also enjoy the view of the beautiful garden. Decked out in a school girl plaid trousers and light layers on top for a great transitional Spring attire.IMG_9532 IMG_9545 IMG_9488 IMG_9393 IMG_9412 IMG_9529 IMG_9397

Whenever I find myself having free time, I love to head all the way up to 105th street to the conservatory garden in central park. It gets really beautiful this time of the year and can be such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the scenery if you’re into the whole being with nature thing. As for me, I went there during my Spring break and wanted to stay forever.

I wore a red and blue number that day because completely out of nowhere I felt like having some colour in my life. I believe I’ve worn this plaid trousers before here about a few months back on the blog but styled it completely different (here). This time around, I wanted to play with the colours in the plaid so I layered my crochet top underneath a beautiful baby blue vest as a way of bring out the colours then on top, I wore my navy “Sorry Not Sorry” jacket since it was a bit chilly. I’m here excited to do more shoots like this one and I can’t wait to share on here!
